A lamp for Blanca

This is one of the first pieces I designed and built when I got my workshop one year ago. It was very special because it was a birthday present for my friend Blanca. She had a terrible lightning set at her home and I decided to help her making her place more pleasant at night. When I finished it she came with her brother to pick it up.

Piet Hein Eek chair adaptation

Pepi invited me and some friends to her Chateau close to Lyon. She has an amazing house surrounded by lots of pine, oak and beech trees. From time to time they fall down as a natural process of nature. When this happens they saw them into pieces and let them dry for some time. She told me I could use all the wood I needed to make a piece so I decided to make this adaptation of Piet Hein Eek chair. I spent one day measuring, sawing and putting everything together and the next morning I woke up early and painted in white before leaving the house and go back to Barcelona.

Gaia, the two different color eyed dog was keeping me company part of the time.
